Dear Friends,

I would like to take this time to show my utmost appreciation to each and every one of you who took the time to come out and offered your support and encouragement during your summer vacation.  Same time, I would like to share a success story with you as well.

As you may recall, we recently had our third and final Blue Blitz (Aug 19th to 21st).  As part of this weekend canvass every riding was entered into a province wide competition.  I am very excited to announce that out of 107 ridings, Markham Unionville came in FIRST PLACE.  We had the most volunteers who participated and we were able to identify the most voters on that weekend.  This was only possible due to the hard work, commitment and dedication from all of you.  Thank you very much for your support!

As successful as the campaign has been so far we still require more help.  The right Period begins today, September 7, 2011 and this is when the campaign truly begins.  The next 30 days are the most important.  I ask that if you have a moment to spare that you drop by the office.  We could use your assistance installing signs and making phone calls for canvassing.  We also need volunteers for scrutineer for Advanced Polls (Sept 21-30) and on Election Day (Oct 6) from 3pm-9pm.  Please sign-up in the office!

We have entered into the most critical period of the campaign. With your help we can bring real change to Markham-Unionville and Ontario.  Looking forward to seeing you all in the campaign.
